Product Announcement - February, 2003: 

Audemars Piguet announces that the Alinghi Commemorative Dual Time Power Reserve Offshore will be arriving in dealer stores sometime in March, 2003. 

 

 
US List price is $23,500 (Mar 18, 02) 

The Alinghi Commemorative Dual Time Power Reserve Offshore is a limited edition of 1000 pieces and will use the tried and true cal. 2229 / 2845. (originally planned as a 750 piece limited edition, demand went stratospheric upon the Alinghi's victory in the 2003 America's Cup)


The case and bracelet will be crafted from titanium, with a 950 platinum bezel, and water resistent to 100m. The case and bracelet size will be similar to the current Offshore Chronograph. 

Note that the case and bracelet style will be from the Offshore line, NOT the Royal Oak line, as clearly seen in the pictures. 

Also note that the back engraving has been slightly modified from earlier pre-release drawings.
